Christine Kwon is a poet and fiction writer in New Orleans. Her first collection of poems, A Ribbon the Most Perfect Blue, is the winner of the 2022 Cowles Poetry Book Prize, awarded by Southeast Missouri State University. It is currently published by Black Lawrence Press. Her second book, When Your Month Is Lonely, was selected by Heather Christle as the winner of the 2026 Tomaž Šalamun Prize and is forthcoming in early 2027 from Factory Hollow. She is a graduate of Yale and the Iowa Writers’ Workshop. She teaches youth international literature and leads generative workshops.
